Jarrold & Sons are a leading Norfolk retailer.
The owning family are also patrons of new architecture. The redevelopment of their city centre store required renovation of a C18th listed building and new C21st construction to provide 200sq m of office and retail space.
The older timber framed building was completely renovated and a new glass retail frontage added which opens up a dark and uninviting part of Little London St in Norwich.
The merging of styles was challenging for client and architect, but the successful project was commended by (award)
